The service
SpotTheWordis provided free of charge, "as is", without any guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted. We may change, pause, or discontinue it at any time.
Acceptable use
- Play for personal, non-commercial enjoyment.
- Don't attempt to disrupt, attack, overload, or reverse-engineer the service, or access it through automated means beyond normal play.
- Don't use the game in any unlawful way.
Intellectual property
The SpotTheWord name, design, and code are owned by their respective authors. The word lists are derived from SCOWL, used under its permissive license, which its own notice governs.
No warranty & liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SpotTheWord is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the game.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms. The date at the top reflects the latest revision.
